You must be a resident of New South Wales, Australia to enrol into this course.

There are some areas of NSW where wombats are not found or mange is not known to be affecting the local wombat populations. If you cannot see your suburb in the dropdown list, please proceed to fill in the enquiry form and you will be added to an expression of interest register should an opportunity to treat mange in your suburb becomes available in the future.

Thank you for your interest in completing WIRES Rescue and Immediate Care Course (RICC).

If you are interested in joining WIRES as a volunteer rescuer and carer you must be over 18 and live in one of WIRES branch areas in NSW, Australia.

If you reside outside NSW, Australia and want to complete WIRES Rescue and Immediate Care Course for your personal interest, professional development, or you are joining an organisation outside NSW that requires you to complete WIRES RICC, please fill in the RICC enquiry form and our training team will contact you within 2-3 working days to discuss your request.

WIRES Rescue and Immediate Care Course (RICC) course is comprised of a compulsory online component and practical workshop. Workshops are only scheduled in NSW at this time.

If you represent an organisation outside NSW that is interested in WIRES training, please provide all the details to our training team when you submit the RICC enquiry form.

If you are interested in joining WIRES, you must be over 18 and live in one of WIRES branch areas in NSW. At this time the program is not available to those residing outside of NSW.

If you represent a licensed wildlife rescue organisation outside of NSW that is interested in WIRES mange related training, please provide all the details to our training team when you complete this form..

Licensing Declaration

Information obtained within this section is used when processing WIRES authorisations to ensure compliance with the licence conditions issued by National Parks and Wildlife Services (NPWS).

Please provide details in a sealed envelope marked Private & Confidential, Attention: CEO WIRES, PO Box 7276, Warringah Mall 2100. All information supplied by you will be held in strict confidence. We will be in contact with you directly.
